Dale Spender is the author /editor of more than thirty books and numerous chapters, introductions, forewords and commentaries; she has written more than four hundred articles and keynote addresses, as well as numerous contributions to scholarly journals; she is a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines, she has written a column for BOSS (Australian Financial Review) and with Fiona Stewart, the online learning section for The Australian.
With Cheris Kramarae she is the co-originator of the Routledge International Encyclopedia of Women and online data base.
With Fiona Stewart she has written Online Education are Australian Universities prepared? a report for the Commonwealth Government and Embracing E-learning in Australian Schools, a report sponsored by the Commonwealth Bank.
She has written and presented programs on BBC, ABC and the Open University.
