Along with Searles, team official Trevon Griffith and team owner Chitranjan Rathod have also been charged under the anti-corruption codes that govern cricket competitions.

Immediate Suspension from All Cricket
Following the charges, all three individuals have been provisionally suspended from participating in any form of cricket with immediate effect.
They have been given 14 days from March 11, 2026 to respond to the allegations and present their defense before disciplinary proceedings begin.
The suspension will remain in place while the case moves through the investigation and hearing process.

The charges form part of a wider anti-corruption investigation connected to the Bim10 tournament. Earlier in the investigation, USA cricketer Aaron Jones was also charged with multiple breaches of anti-corruption rules in connection with the same inquiry.
