WWE has announced a major expansion of its international broadcasting partnership with Netflix, continuing the growing collaboration between the sports entertainment company and the streaming platform.

According to the latest announcement, Netflix will begin streaming WWE Premium Live Events (PLEs) in Germany starting next month, with full German-language commentary available for viewers. The expansion also includes Austria, where Netflix subscribers will gain access to the same live WWE events.

This move marks another step in WWE’s strategy to strengthen its global digital presence and make its premium events more accessible to international audiences.

WWE Premium Live Events Coming to Germany on Netflix

The new deal means that WWE fans in Germany will soon be able to watch major events directly through Netflix. The service will stream every upcoming Premium Live Event with localized commentary.

The German commentary team will feature Calvin Knie and Tim Haber, who will provide live coverage for the events.

The new coverage is expected to begin with one of WWE’s biggest annual shows.

WWE and Netflix Partnership Continues to Grow

WWE first launched its broadcast partnership with Netflix at the beginning of 2025, bringing select WWE programming to the streaming service.

Since then, the relationship between the two companies has continued to develop. Earlier this year, Netflix also expanded access to WWE’s PLE library, making many past events available to viewers in the United States.

This growing collaboration shows how streaming platforms are becoming an increasingly important distribution channel for sports entertainment content.

WWE Programming Performing Strongly on Netflix

Viewership data released earlier this year showed that WWE content has been performing well on the streaming platform.

Several major WWE events attracted millions of viewers during the second half of 2025.

WWE Raw Draws Strong Audience on Netflix

In addition to Premium Live Events, WWE’s flagship weekly program Raw has also been performing strongly on the platform.

The show regularly attracted large audiences during the early months of the partnership.

One of the most-watched episodes featured John Cena’s final match on Raw, which drew significant attention from fans.

    WWE Expanding Global Streaming Strategy

The expansion into Germany and Austria reflects WWE’s broader strategy to increase international streaming access for its content.

By partnering with Netflix, the company is able to reach millions of viewers across multiple regions while delivering localized commentary and improved accessibility.

With global demand for wrestling content continuing to grow, the WWE–Netflix partnership is expected to expand further in the future.
